Days

Wednesday to Saturday

Hours

8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Chef to join our nursing home team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals in line with set menus and dietary requirements
Ensure high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
Comply with food safety and health & safety regulations
Manage food preparation efficiently within allocated hours
Work collaboratively with the care and management team

Requirements

Previous experience as a chef or cook
Knowledge of special diets and allergens
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Reliable, organised, and caring approach to work
